Today I choose to take my life back. I will no longer turn my head to the CNN’s and Suzi Orman’s of doom and gloom. There are positive stories, people, possibly even news-worthy events, taking place, being ignored, to the benefit of the negative. I cannot change the television networks. I cannot change world events. But, I am not powerless. Here is my plan:
Today I choose to focus on being thankful.
Today I choose to walk into my office with a smile and kind words.
Today I choose to go the extra mile for my co-workers, my family and you.
Today I choose to be a blessing.
God does not want us to be in turmoil, filled with worry. What He does want for us is to be filled with peace, joy and LOVE. That is how we will change the world.

Hooray for your attitude. I agree with that philosophy. We all need to live with the golden rule in mind, you know that do unto others as you would have them do unto you that your mom probably taught you. It works in business as well as friends and family. If we leave our house each day determined to be a blessing then we will be. If we aim to treat employees and those we are serving in our business with the care and concern that we would expect then our businesses should thrive…
No wonder I liked your web site so much that I made a trip to one of the stores!!!! Thanks.

I agree with you. When the news come on and they start with the gloom and doom, I switch channels. When I see Suzi Orman being interviewed, I switch the channel. I am not going to allow the pessimists to bring me down. I keep saying to myself, “This, too, shall pass”.
It is a daily conscious decision as to whether or not to allow the negativity to envelope your day. I want to be optimistic. But it sure takes work!
I am a firm believer in prayer and that is what I do! PRAY PRAY PRAY

I am with you on this! I have made a conscious effort to no longer watch the doom and gloom news networks. I occasionally listen to the radio and select the news I choose to read on the internet. Time to take control of what we can in our lives and leave the rest to who is ultimately in control.
Thanks for your words.
