As I was leaving WalGreens the other day, I couldn’t help but notice a man in shorts following very closely behind me. As I walked to my car, he stayed step for step with me. My heart beating faster and keys in hand, I opened my car door, threw my bag on the other seat and immediately locked my door. I looked at the confused man, he is still standing right by my drivers seat door, looking through me, as if he doesn’t know where he is. Deciding to drive away quickly, I get my key, ready to start the car. Then, I was confused. Something didn’t seem right, not everything was familiar. And the key did not fit. Reality set in. I was in HIS car. I looked to my right to see my car parked next to the one I was trying to steal. I grabbed my bag, unlocked his car door manually, and stepped out. Looking at the man, I said “You really should lock your car doors.” Smiles coupled with relief shown on his face as he agreed and said “I thought I really lost my mind”. To which I replied “No, I’m the crazy one in this senario.” I was still apologizing as he sped away from this crazy woman. Getting into my car, I could not stop laughing. It must be the Texas heat.

I too had this happen but the weird thing was I got into a car the same as mine and when I looked around once I was sitting in it… the car was absolutely full of rubbish, old drink cans, food wrappers it was like a bomb had gone off in it…and for one insane moment I actually thought
“Oh My God what has happened to my car”
Then I realised it wasn’t my car….I quickly got out and couldn’t stop laughing all the way home with tears streaming down my face! The worrying thing is my name Susan as well….. maybe someone has put a curse on us…Hehhehehheee! Just wanted to say I love your learning videos and just had a great afternoon doing a couple of lessons and also watched you all singing your xmas song which put the biggest smile on my face so I would just like to congratulate you on such a fabulous site for a beadaholic like me. Merry Christmas .

LOL That is really funny. Made me smile and chuckle today. It seems I am always lost when I come out of the mall to look for my car. I can totally see myself doing the same thing.

Susie, I’m still laughing! I’m glad he wasn’t a nutjob – the outcome could have been awful! Your story reminds me of a friend of mine who had reported his car stolen when he couldn’t find it in an out of town parking garage. The funniest thing is that when he returned with his rental car, he parked it right next to HIS CAR! LOL! Yes, he’s rather loopy at times!

Oh my goodness, don’t feel bad it happened to my friend and I.
She had a Saturn car and after we left work, we went to what we thought was her car only to find it was some one else’s car looking like hers. When didn’t figure it out until she tried to start the car. It was embarrassing and the parking lot of coworkers were curious as to what in the world were we doing.

Don’t feel bad. I work with someone who has the exact same car . Everything is the same and he parks right next to me. I went on my break one night and I went to get in my car and I almost sat on him. I scared him alot. After that time we are best of friends. I still feel stupid because he tells everyone!
